DESIGN
We design and craft alebrijes in the form of paintings, wooden sculptures, hats, bookshelves, fireplaces and many more types of art that is meticulously painted by hand by Irma Rodríguez. Irma first began painting as a little girl when her parents started an alebrije business, therefore she has learned the family business and craftsmanship that is inspired by her heritage growing up in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Diseñamos y elaboramos alebrijes en forma de pinturas, esculturas de madera, sombreros, libreros, chimeneas y muchos más tipos de arte que son meticulosamente pintados a mano por Irma Rodríguez. Irma comenzó a pintar desde niña cuando sus padres iniciaron un negocio de alebrijes, por lo tanto ha aprendido el negocio familiar y la artesanía que se inspira en su herencia creciendo en Oaxaca, México.

Each alebrije is lovingly painted with skill and craftsmanship that comes from many years of experience in creating alebrijes. It is part of the history of alebrije making to make animals with fantastical features and color that is influenced by the four elements: water, air, fire and water.
